Stuff is an established full service, creative communications agency based in Bristol. Clients include both global and local brands across a range of sectors.
We’re searching for a proactive and talented Account Manager to join our small but perfectly formed team to manage some of the agency’s key clients across B2B and B2C markets.
With experience in managing integrated campaigns as well as brand and design projects, the perfect candidate will have good strategic skills and a hands on approach to all work going through the agency, from brief to delivery.
You’ll need experience working across the full media mix with specialist experience in digital: websites, campaigns and social.
Through excellent communication and a positive attitude to solving problems, you will be responsible for keeping the internal team on track and ensuring we continue to provide our clients with an excellent service.
You will be someone who; can fit quickly into a team, be exceptionally organised, highly proactive and, most importantly, able to prioritise tasks and workload effectively.
It goes without saying, that you will also have a clear passion for marketing and communications from strategy to creativity and be truly motivated to collaborate with the team and clients to deliver the best possible outputs and results.
You will have proven experience in a similar role with at least 3-5 years agency experience and ready to hit the ground running.
Required skills & experience:
• Agency experience is a must
• Experience in the following sectors would be an advantage; food & drink, property, travel + tourism, retail
• Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment with a small team
• Experience of managing rebrands and brand refreshes
• A good understanding of all things digital, in particular; campaigns, websites and social
• Confident at presenting proposals to client
• Experience of compiling and presenting summary and campaign reports
• Competent at managing projects profitably
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate challenging situations with confidence and sensitivity
• Experience of managing third-party contractors efficiently
• Successful management of budgets and timescales
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing a range of client accounts (large and small)
• Nurturing client relationships and identifying opportunities
• Planning and management of a range of marketing, design and communications projects from brief to delivery
• Creation and management of project timelines and key documentation
• Budget management and invoicing
• Working closely with the in-house team to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and budget
• Brief writing
• Project planning and management
• Campaign reporting and presenting
• Overall administrative support to the wider team as required
• Managing and liaising with third party contractors
• Effective time management and reporting on all projects
• Research support for the creative team
• Answering the phone and taking new business briefs
Ideal candidate
• At least 3 years agency experience
• Proactive self-starter
• Confidence in own ability to deliver on projects of varying scale
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Instinctively nurtures and builds long-lasting client relationship
• Confident at presenting and pitching
• Natural multitasker and able to adapt effectively
• Proven experience in managing creative marketing projects from brief to delivery
• A keen eye for detail
• Competent proof-reader
• Full understanding of the creative processes (digital and print)
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude and inherent motivation to solve problems
• Enjoys visiting clients and leading meetings
